MQM-P Pledges to Oust Rulers in Absence of Constitutional Changes
In a hot protestation, MQM- P leaders asserted on Sunday that they would nearly cover the PPP’s conformation of the coming government in Sindh, covenanting to deliver a decisive blow in the forthcoming February 8 choices.
Speaking at a rally in Korangi, MQM- P Convenor Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui emphasized their commitment to holding the feudal class responsible. He bravely stated that the fate of Pakistan’s rule would be determined by Karachi.
Siddiqui issued a warning, stating their intention to remove the current autocrats if essential emendations weren't introduced to the constitution.
The demand specifically pertained to constitutional safeguards for an efficient local government system and the unimpeded allocation of funds to these institutions.
Mustafa Kamal echoed these sentiments, urging those who have governed the province for 15 years to grant a five-year term. He criticized the PPP for its performance during its lengthy rule in Sindh.
MQM-P Pledges:
These statements precede a period of anticipated electoral collaboration, with various parties forming close alliances, and the MQM-P seeking to regain lost ground in Karachi.
Concurrently, the PML-N aims to establish a presence in both the port city and Sindh through partnerships with parties like JUI-F and PML-F.
During his speech, Dr. Farooq Sattar, the deputy convenor of MQM-P, emphasized the rejection of double standards in the future.
He advocated for rights and local autonomy, a clear critique of PPP’s rule in Sindh, which has intensified feelings of deprivation in urban centers.

Sattar expressed dissatisfaction with the prevailing situation, highlighting that even a jungle had a law, unlike the current state of affairs concerning local governments.
He underscored the destruction of Karachi over the past 15 years and emphasized the need for a robust local government system.
With “Empower the Local Governments” as their election slogan, Sattar affirmed that they would not compromise on their demands, asserting the importance of providing opportunities for youth progress.
